Martha Jones

     Martha (Mattie) Neal born in 1866 was the daughter of York and Isabella Neal of Somerville,  Tennessee.  Martha married Lott Jones Jr. in 1886 and relocated to Arkansas were Lott was born.  According to family history passed down from generation to generation Lott, Martha and some of their children died of an illness that was going around in Arkansas at this time.  Therefore we find in the 1900 U.S. census living with York and Isabella Neal are the three surviving children Prince, Isabella and Lott.  (Click on image to make bigger)
